Dream. Do. Dazzle.

On January 16th, The Plane Project, together with an organization called It Starts At Home, visited Nellmapius Secondary School in Pretoria, with the sole purpose of motivating the Grade 12 learners as they enter the final stretch of their schooling career. My aim was to awaken enthusiasm, challenging learners to grow beyond their present circumstances and to work tirelessly to achieve their goals. I discussed at length the importance of self-belief. Christian D. Larson once said;

“Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle.”

Each student has an extraordinary dream for their life once they complete their schooling career. I was encouraged by their display of hope for a brighter future, and the desire for their dreams to come to life. There is no limitation on what you can potentially achieve. What you believe to be possible will always come to pass – to the extent that you deem it possible. Robert Greenleaf was quoted saying; “Not much happens without a dream. And for something great to happen, there must be a great dream. Behind every great achievement is a dreamer of great dreams.”

Sadly but true, and in the words of Myles Munroe – “The poorest man in the world is the man without a dream. The most frustrated man in the world is the man with a dream that never becomes reality.”

Have a dream. Make it a reality.
